I have started my career as SQA engineer and I loved it. I have completed training on Software Testing (CSTP) just after completion of my graduation. It helps a lot in the beginning but I improved myself by means of dedication, passion, sincerity, seriousness, thinking out of the box for making new scenarios. I have approx 6 Years of Experience as a software QA engineer, writing and executing test plans and test cases in highly structured and loosely structured development environments and performing all types of testing. Managing software testing department, train up team members and working with different life cycle of software testing through Quality Management System (QMS) by means of CMMI Level 3.
Present I am managing software testing activities includes preparing test plan and test cases, developing testing methodology, introducing new test tools, train up test engineers, reporting defect reports through Mantis. Follow TDD, preparing test cases before design works start. Practice SCRUM methodology for the projects and regular meeting with team. Prepare high level report for the senior management of the organization. Helping development team for breakdown the requirements and have frequently discussion with the team.
I am looking forward to achieve something special in software testing in the Software Industry. So, I am sharing my experience and expertise with other engineers and never hesitate to do so.

Currently working in India Regional Office of a large versatile International group as Head Quality Assurance and Project Management, Jaideep has over 20 years experience in IT. Starting his career as a hard core developer, in 1987, he became Head IT of a reputed automobile components manufacturing company. During 10 years of his tenure at this company he transformed a small setup 3 PC company to a fully networked Client Server Architecture setup with over 100 PCs and an ERP in place. After that in the year 2000, he joined another well known automobile component manufacturing corporate having group of companies manufacturing auto electrical components, exporting to Europe/Asia and to all major OEMs. In his tenure of 5 years in this corporate, he helped corporate to grow from 20 PCs setup to fully structured network, centralized mail server, in-house ERP on Oracle database and D2K as frontend tool, Routers, Intelligent Switches, Firewall, Video Conferencing Room, 100% up-time etc. all in place. Jaideep believes that Innovation, Team Managements, Time Management, Skills enhancement, Learning, Knowledge Management and Mentoring are the best tools to grow.

Swagata has been in the software field in multiple roles
and exclusively in QA since the last 7 years. She started as a junior
tester
and then went on to managerial roles of QA Lead,Manager and Director.
Currently she is working as a Senior QA Consultant.She likes QA with a
passion and feels there is always room for improvement.She has been
involved
in improving business processes as well as controlling the testing (both
manual and automated) of multiple applications based on varied business
domains. Currently she is working on a book about the challenges one
faces

Dr Mike Bartley gained a PhD in Logic at Bristol University and an MSc in Software Engineering and MBA with the Open University. More recently he has added ISEB Practitioner Testing Qualifications in both Test Management and Test Analysis. Mike has been involved in software and hardware development for 20 years, including outsourcing, and regularly writes articles and delivers conference papers. He recently established his own consultancy to help companies in product QA and outsourcing.
